FIELD: engineering of devices for personal identification of clients during conduction of transactions with usage of mobile communication networks, in particular, invention may be used for authentication when making a payment with bank card using a mobile phone.;SUBSTANCE: during conduction of inter-bank financial transaction in international payment system in accordance to 3-D Secure specification protocol, four transaction phases are conducted successively with condition of multi-factor strict client authentication with usage of mobile phone in mobile communication environment: initiation of operation; generator and delivery of authentication request; generation and delivery of response to authentication request; execution of operation, generation and delivery of notification about operation results. During conduction of each phase, signal messages are transferred between system participants using 3-D Secure specification components.;EFFECT: ensured privacy of conducted operations.;3 cl, 2 dwg
