FIELD: biotechnology, microbiological industry, veterinary science.;SUBSTANCE: strain Bifidobacterium gallinarum GB possesses antagonistic properties with respect to pathogenic microflora and shows resistance to some antibacterial preparations. Its prophylactic effect against pathogens of intestine diseases in newborn chickens caused by pseudomonas, salmonella, lactose-negative escherichia and olm (proteus) is confirmed and this strain promotes to gain mass in poultry. The strain shows high technological effectiveness, it accumulates biomass in industrial nutrient media for short periods and with high concentration of bifidobacteria and produces organic acids. Invention provides its using in production of bacterial preparations, biologically active supplements to fodders, ferments, fermented and nonfermented fodders providing probiotic effect and normalization of microbiocenosis in domestic poultry.
