The utility model relates to hydraulic engineering, in particular to low-pressure and medium-pressure pumped storage power plants [PSPP], constructed both in rock-free and rocky soils, with a shaft arrangement of vertical reversible hydraulic units. A shaft accumulating power plant includes an upper pool (1), in which a vertical shaft water intake-outlet (2), a vertical shaft water conduit (3) of the upper basin, a reversible hydraulic unit containing a reversible hydraulic turbine (4), and a reversible hydrogenerator (5) are located. Reversible hydraulic turbine can be propeller type, rotary vane or radial axis. The vertical mine annular water conduit (6) is formed by internal (7) and external (8) reinforced concrete wells. Reversible hydraulic turbine is located in the hydraulic turbine block (9) located in the lower part of the outer reinforced concrete well. The pressure tunnel (10) has a circular cross section and connects the mine annular water conduit (3) of the upstream to the impeller chamber (4). In the lower pool (11) there is a vertical shaft water intake-outlet (12) connected to a vertical shaft ring conduit 6, which is made with a cross section expanding in the direction from the bottom up, 1 silt. The material consumption of a power plant is significantly reduced, and its design is also simplified.
