FIELD: laser location of atmosphere.;SUBSTANCE: in the method, based on letting impulse laser radiation try turbulent atmosphere and filtering received radiation, reverse dissipation radiation is generated on small scale irregularities, amplified during passage of large scale irregularities, measured are reverse dissipation amplification coefficients of single impulses, passing frequency of which dies not exceed frequency of fluctuations of turbulent atmosphere, determined is coefficient of amplification of reverse dissipation of impulse radiation by averaging reverse dissipation coefficients of single impulses and restored is profile of structural characteristic of deflection coefficient of turbulent atmosphere by means of reverse transformation of coefficient of amplification of reverse dissipation of impulse radiation.;EFFECT: increased precision by measuring profile of structural characteristic of deflection coefficient of turbulent atmosphere.
