The novel features in a moulding material (esp. for mfr. of dental or jaw patterns) comprising: (a) a polyether contg. at least 2 opt. substd. vinyl and/or allylene gps., (b) an SiH component, (c) a Pt catalyst and opt. (d) conventional additives are that: (i) component (b) is obtd. by reaction of an at least difunctional (meth)acrylate with at least 1 mol. per (meth)acrylate gp. of an at least difunctional SiH cpd. of formula (I), (II) or (III); and (ii) at least one of (b) and (c) is kept separate from the other. (I); (II); (III); a and b = 0-8; c = 0-4; R1-R8 = H or 1-18C opt. halogenated hydrocarbon where 2-6 of R1-R8 in (II) are H and b and c are not zero at the same time; and i = 0 or 1.
