A metal powder composition for selective laser sintering including an Fe-based-, Ni- and/or Ni alloy-based-, Cu- and/or Cu-based powder material, or a graphite powder material. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for preparation of the composition as described above by mixing the materials and comminution of the mixture obtained; (2) a 3-dimensional object obtained by sintering of the powder composition.
