The brake valve has a manually operable release valve (24) for a spring-operated brake cylinder (25), where the release valve is integrally arranged in a housing (2) of the relay valve. An arbitrarily operable control valve (40) with positions such as lifting, lowering, driving and stopping, and an overflow valve (32) with a movable wall for separating a brake assembly from an auxiliary load are integrally arranged in the housing of the relay valve.
