Method involves storing of the object (13) on a computer tomograph (1) on the basis of a reference projection direction (P o) measured along the reference X-ray attenuation (A aP). The vertical positioning of the object is considered with respect to the axis of rotation (12) of the computer tomograph by collecting the table height (h t) of the object table (6). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Correction module; and (B) Computer tomograph.
