A method of thermostatic heating of discontinuously flowing media, especially liquids and gases, of varying amounts and temperatures comprises inductive heating by coils along the passage using high-frequency AC to heat the two-layer container wall to the Curie temperature of the ferromagnetic layer. Inductive power is automatically controlled by the difference between the actual and Curie temperature so that the medium is warmed to the Curie/thermostat temperature and the heating power corresponds directly to the empty run power.
