Seal (1) for shower dividing wall with at least a door, which has a seal on its vertical side edge. The seal contains several smooth surfaces (14,15,16), serving as laying surfaces, with a magnetic inset (3). The magnetic inset has a trapezium-shaped cross-section and a fastening area which consists of a fixing and an adhesive onto the vertical side wall of the glass panel. The fixing is achieved using a U-shaped part (2) made of plastic or rust-free metal. From a base (7), projecting limbs (8) of the U-shaped part are pointed inwards at an angle of under 90[deg] and have projections (9) pointing towards the glass surface.
