The dosing unit to set the dose to be delivered by an injection system, for a medication, has a setting sleeve (2) at the injector housing (1a) with at least one marking (2b) around its circumference with the different dosage levels. The required dosage is set by rotating the sleeve. A rotating sleeve (3) is pulled out to regulate the dosage delivery, also marked (3h) with the dosages. The setting and rotating sleeves are coupled together so that their dosage settings are not offset.
