The device has a clamp (2) designed angularly, where the device is designed as a mounting plate (1). The clamp is arranged on an upper side of the plate, and has an upper side piece. A wedge-shaped base (3.1) is inserted and clamped in the piece transverse to a transport direction of the device. A side of the piece facing the plate runs parallel to an upper surface of the plate, so that the base is fixed in the clamp by clamping. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement of identical devices for transportation of articles in an assembly line.
