The electric motor has electromagnetically operable brakes (10,20), where the motor has an interface for selective accommodation of two different brakes at its axial end. The interface has units for a detachable sealing connection. The brakes have an actuator (6), which is connected in a form-fit manner with a shaft of the motor, where all the brakes comprise the same actuator. An independent claim is also included for a construction kit for an electric motor.
