Device for printing plastic corks (2) comprises a conveyor (1) with catches for the corks, a guiding metal sheet part (6) on the lower side and arranged at a distance from the catches and a cork feed (7) arranged laterally to the conveying surface for feeding the corks to the guiding sheet metal part. The distance of the guiding sheet metal part to the catches depending on the cork diameter is selected so that the catches receive the corks on the guiding part. An independent claim is also included for a method for imprinting plastic corks using the above device. Preferred Features: A supporting roller pair is used as the catch, in which the rear roller is larger than the front roller.
