The device comprises a roller (4) mounted on a socket (3) which extends at the end of the ski on the top or at the side end across the longitudinal extension so that with the top side (6) of the ski now facing the ground the ski can be rolled over the ground when pulled along over the rollers. The rollers and/or parts of the socket can be mounted detachable. The rollers are made from rubber or plastics. The ski (or snowboard) can have a holder or fastener at the pointed end for fixing a draw line.
