A pulse-operating magnet contains a refrigerant-free, disk-shaped superconductive winding (12). A line system thermally couples the winding to a cold head of a refrigerating unit by a refrigerant circulating within according to a thermosiphon effect. The line system thermally coupled to the winding surface has a number of separate pipes (16) lying next to one another. Their ends are open to a common refrigerant distributor (13) and are closed at their opposite ends.
