摘要

A method for applying protective layers to the rotor and housing of a conical breaker has the layers produced separate to the cast breaker and applied in a separate process. The steel casting has a carbon content of less than 2 percent, manganese less than 25 percent and chrome less than 5 percent. The hardened layers have a thickness of more than 20 mm and are provided with a soft inner layer which is welded to the rotor and housing in a separate process.
