The method involves having several sensors, which supply a time-discrete, standardized, optionally linearized signal provided around ambient temperature influences. Neighboring sensors have a common range within the pressure range. A value adjustment is provided for the increasing steadiness of the output signal and that the range for the adjustment of value is determined automatically dependent on the process of the sensor signals. Extending the range for the adjustment of value is selected as small as possible, in order to reach a reduction of the measuring error in the output signal. An independent claim is included for a device.
