A removable cover for a ring binder has a flexible panel with folded over edge strips (9 to 12) into which the opened binder is placed. The upper and lower edge strips can be linked by flexible ties (17) to further secure the cover. The cover can be made of textile and fitted with carrying handles as well as with a closure, e.g. a sliding clasp fastener, to form a transportable pack.
