The thread milling head has a case in which a rotation device and an adjustment device are arranged. The rotation device is provided for rotating a tool (22) with respect to the Z-axis. The adjustment device has linear guides for eccentric adjustment of the driven tool. An independent claim is also included for the thread milling apparatus including the thread milling head.
