A plate accepting force (1) rests against beams of the force-sensing components (8, 9), the beam direction being transverse to that of force introduction. Strain gauges (62, 64, 72, 74) are fitted to the beam on both sides of the support location. Strain gauge surfaces are parallel to the direction of force introduction. The beam is connected by its opposite ends (41, 42) to a load-bearing support frame (10), part of the structure accepting the resultant force.
