The meter has a memory unit (2) provided for storing control data for controlling and/or regulating filling-up of a medium e.g. fluid, in a filling container (3). A valve (4) is arranged for controlling the filling-up of the medium, where the valve is an integral part of the meter. The meter and the valve are arranged in a common housing (5). A temperature sensor (6) is provided for determining process conditions and/or characteristics of the medium. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for determining control data for controlling and regulating filling of a medium (2) a device for performing the method for determining control data.
