Between a coupling piece (1) and a rod (3) there is a flexible intermediate piece (2), preferably produced from a spiral, extending in an axial direction with a length of between 1 and 8 cm, preferably between 2 and 4 cm. An independent claim is also included for a method for removing deposits in pipes.
