The arrangement has a carrier comprising two arms (1a, 1b) and fastenable to a motor vehicle. A mirror head is fastened to the carrier in a detachable manner and has a housing (2a) and a mirror disk (2b) fastened to the housing. A connecting unit (3) is arranged between the carrier and the mirror head for storage of the mirror head. The connecting unit comprises two fastening surfaces that are oriented relative to each other in such a manner that the mirror head is movable into a desired reference position relative to the motor vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mirror arrangement.
