The linear guide has a rail made up of an inner (30) and an outer (40) U-profile. The arms of the outer profile have longitudinal grooves while tops of the arms of the inner profile have a Maltese cross shape, so they enclose raceways (362, 363, 371, 374) for rollers when fitted into the groove, while their inner sides form a continuation of the raceway with an I-profile central slide.
