The arrangement (1) has a voltage regulator (4) comprising an input terminal (7) and an output terminal (71). Input-sided and output-sided devices (8, 81) control a connection between the input terminal and supply connections (5, 6) and a connection between the output terminal and a capacitor (11), respectively by using a control signal (VS). The capacitor is provided for supplying back current to a load arrangement (13). The capacitor alternatively establishes and disconnects the connection with the output terminal, such that the charging condition of the capacitor is predetermined by the signal.
