The subframe has a catch opening (2) provided in proximity of a part of fastener openings (12) through which the subframe is fastened to a motor vehicle door. The catch opening is separated from the attached fastener openings by a material area of the subframe, which is formed as a connection area (3). The connection area has a preset break point (30), which breaks upon exceeding a given load of the connection area by an associated fastener based on a tensile force (Z), so that the fastener engaging the fastener opening is moved in the catch opening.
