An adapter (2) is formed around the neck opening of an urine collecting bottle (1) and is extended diagonally or curved to conform into the vaginal opening. A three-fingered carrying handle (4) is provided around the bottle neck to aid the woman in lifting and then putting the neck opening into between the vaginal opening folds. The adapter also forms a tongue located at the lower surface of the neck opening. The tongue is pressed against the vaginal folds during use. A non-irritating coating e.g. beeswax, is applied around the edges of the neck opening and tongue.
