The assembly (14) has a nozzle body provided with a recess (32) that is hydraulically coupled with a high pressure circuit of a fluid. A nozzle needle (33) is arranged in the recess in an axially movable manner. A casing (54) is arranged between the nozzle body and the nozzle needle, and a gap (64) is formed between the needle and the casing. The casing is arranged in such a manner that a radial flexural rigidity of the casing is varied over the axial length of the housing and a change of the gap measure counteracts based on the pressure of the fluid. An independent claim is also included for an injection valve comprising a nozzle assembly.
