The system has two tensioning devices (7, 8) supported rotatably around a rotation axis (12), where the tensioning devices are arranged at a housing (9) or a fastening carrier of a starter generator (3). One of the two tensioning devices moves to the starter generator based on the movement direction of a traction mechanism. The other tensioning device charges at a traction mechanism strand (18, 19) that runs from the starter generator. The two clamping devices are movably coupled with one another for a simultaneously aligned movement.
