A current cable for transporting air comprises many mutually insulated (2) electrical current conductors (1) for measuring and signaling (3) with intermediate filling (6) and a surrounding cover (7) that is preferably watertight for maritime use. There is an integrated or separately connected air lead (4) to supply drives, electrical machines, etc., with compressed air, to discharge excess pressure with side connection to the open atmosphere and as circulating leads for ventilating turbine chambers. An independent claim is also included for and end connection or distribution unit for the above cable.
