Aqueous bleaching composition (A) comprises 0.1-20 wt.% of hypohalogenated bleaching agent, surfactant mixture comprising ether sulfate, alkane sulfonate and amine oxide, 0.5-10 wt.% of foam regulator, 0-2 wt.% of alkali silicate, and 0-10 wt.% of stabilizers such as radical catcher and/or complex former. An independent claim is also included for a procedure for bleaching textiles comprising contacting the textiles with (A) in optionally diluted form and washing the textile with water.
