The device (10) has a common housing provided with an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet. A silencer unit (20) is arranged in the housing for after treatment of exhaust gas mass flow through the housing. A fluid injection unit is arranged in the housing upstream of the silencer unit for introducing fluid e.g. urea water solution, into the flow. A treatment section for the exhaust gas mass flow with the fluid is provided between a fluid injection unit (16) and the silencer in the housing. The treatment section comprises a baffle for the exhaust gas mass flow.
