The process involves supplying combustion dust with a specific water content to a pneumatic dosing system. An inert gas is applied in the upper section of a dosing container so that fluidized bed occurs in the container. The ash of the fuel is melted and is transferred together with the hot gasification gas over an outlet opening (2.5) in a Quenching space (3.1) of a Quenching cooler. The quenched crude gas that is saturated with water vapor is subjected to a crude gas washing unit or mechanical dust precipitator for cleaning the dust. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the method for gasification of solid fuel e.g. hard coal, brown coal and Petroleum coke in a fluidized flow.
