The headlight has a set of LED light sources arranged on a common carrier (4). A common light guiding unit is arranged for producing light distributions. The light sources and/or the light guiding unit are controllable by a control unit. A luminous flux produced by the light sources produces a set of periodical and temporally shifted partial light distributions with a frequency that lies above a threshold frequency for human eye.
