The tailgate arrangement of a vehicle (1) has a number of hinge-interconnected tailgate sections (3), whereby the tailgate (2) is movably guided by at least one guiding device on at least the roof of the vehicle, and by this can be brought into an open and closed position. The guiding device comprises two guide rails extending in the vehicle's longitudinal direction in the side section of the vehicle, at least on the roof. The guide rails are located in a rear side body section. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle with the aforesaid tailgate arrangement.
