The method involves determining a driving path (ND1) based on data of a navigation system and a driving path (SSD1) based on driving-dynamic system data and/or sensor data of a motor vehicle (K). A probability of the two driving paths is determined such that the driving paths correspond to a driving path to be driven through by the motor vehicle. A combination driving path is determined as the driving path for distance related driving speed control of the motor vehicle depending on the probability of the two driving paths.
