The method involves transmitting messages before usage in a server system (SDS) by exchanges (SG, PG, LE). The server system determines a probability that the server system concerns about undesirable messages in the transmitted messages. The server system transmits the determined probability to the exchanges. The exchanges examine the messages with respect to a communication connection corresponding to the probability, so that the messages obtain marking before transmission. An independent claim is also included for exchanges for stopping undesirable messages e.g. spam over Internet telephony-messages, shortened SPIT-messages, in an internet protocol (IP) communication network.
