The power-heat system has a conversion unit (3) for converting an initial material (1) into a first fluid (9) that is rich in hydrogen and a fuel cell unit (5) for converting a second fluid produced by adding moisture to the first fluid to produce a third fluid containing hydrogen (6). The system has at least one fluid storage unit (7,8) for storing at least one of the fluids.
