The bushing contact has a connecting part (2) for an electric lead (4) and a contacting part (3) to contact a plug contact. The contacting part has two or more contacting spring arms (5) with expanding plates (15) designed so that in the non-contacting state the expanding plates hold the spring arms spaced from one another against normal contacting force but in the contacting state the contacting spring arms become disengaged from the expanding plates for contact. The expanding plates and contact spring arms can be formed in one piece.
