The method involves entering an optical value for left and right eyes according to order data in a computer, and testing whether an adjustment of a blank lens (6) requires a corresponding concurrent adjustment of another lens (6) to maintain preset tolerances corresponding to vertical amplitude of fusion. Minimal required adjustment of the lenses is calculated and a determination is made to test whether the adjustment lies within the preset tolerances based on prismatic effect under consideration of axes position of a main section of cylindrical or prismatic portions.
