Device has turning chassis (5) with drive wheels movable on the vehicle frame (1). The drive wheels are connected to the motor drive (3) by power transmitting means. Device includes at least one stabiliser in form of a sprung restorable insulating element. Said insulating element is embodied as a torque rod spring (10) whose contact point on the drive side is located on the top of the chassis and its fastening point on the frame on a bridge part (11). The bridge part is indirectly or directly connected via further parts to the car frame. In neutral position, the torque rod spring runs essentially parallel to the lengthwise axis of the car or coincides with its axis.
