The arrangement has an impedance unit (1) with a control port (13) for supplying control signals for controlling an impedance of the impedance unit, where the control signals exhibit a suitable signal form. A signal generator (2) is coupled with the control port. The signal generator produces temporally variable control signals in such a manner that the electromagnetic interference generated by an electronic circuit (4) in operation is changed, by altering the impedance unit. The impedance unit may comprise non-linear elements which disperse the interfering signal in the form of harmonics, or a circuit including a varactor diode. An independent claim is also included for a method for reducing electromagnetic interference.
