The foil has a carrier tape (1) e.g. fabric tape, with a recess and label areas mounted on the tape for forming labels (7). The label areas completely or partly overlap with the recess of the tape, where the recess is a continuous, flexible, centre strip. Label layers (2) made of photopolymer are applied on both sides of the carrier tape using an adhesive layer (4) including an UV-thermosetting adhesive. The adhesive layer is applied on an outer side of the foil to connect the label layers with one another. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a transfer foil (2) a device for manufacturing a transfer foil.
