The parlor has two limitation devices (5,6), where an animal is placed in a space between the two limitation devices. One of the limitation devices is arranged in parallel to the other limitation device. One of the limitation devices is movable in a direction, which is perpendicular to a plane of the limitation devices. A third limitation device stands perpendicular to the former two limitation devices. An independent claim is also included for a method for milking milk giving animals.
