The device has an adhesive layer (K) for connecting a partial area of a rear side of a mirror (1) with a holder (6) that is connected with a wall in a fixed manner. The holder is tightly connected with a flat support (19) by using a connection unit (14), where a lower edge (5) of the mirror is supported on the support with a rear part. The support is formed as a Z-angle, and the connection unit is designed as rod, which has a thread section at an end. The support and/or the connection unit are made from corrosion-resistant material e.g. steel.
