The drive has an electrical driving motor (5) for propelling wheel (1) of the mobile device. The drive connection between the driving motor and wheel are lifted out by a coupling, where the coupling (11) couples a rotating element connected with the wheel to a rotating element connected with the driving motor. A unit detects the rotating position of the rotating element connected with the driving motor relative to rotating element connected with the wheel. The detected rotating position processes units for controlling the driving motor, in order to bring the coupled rotating element relative to each other in a rotating position, in which coupling elements (12,13) connected to each other align with the rotating element which are coupled together by the coupling.
