Time point determining method for initiating necessary brake intervention for motor vehicle, involves determining time point based on brake deceleration that is determined such that another brake deceleration is predetermined
The method involves determining a brake deceleration (axm) such that other brake decelerations, which are reduced depending on a friction coefficient in comparison to a defined maximum deceleration, are predetermined during existence of actual determined friction coefficients. The brake deceleration (axm) is also determined such that a brake deceleration, which is increased with respect to the reduced decelerations, is determined during non-existence of the coefficients. A time point (tE) is determined depending on the brake deceleration (axm).
