Enclosed ducts/ drainage channels of various diameters, undergoing resin repairs, are irradiated internally by a single variable output UV source which has at least one lamp (14) which can be connected to either a high (22) or lower power supply circuit (21), arranged in parallel, by switches (25, 26) which also allow simultaneous connection of the lamp to both supply circuits to achieve maximum output. Independent claims are included for an arrangement comprising a UV lamp, dual high and low electrical energy supply circuits and switches. Typical electrical energy demands for curing resin are 500W for 100mm diameter ducts, and 1500-2000W for 1500mm ducts.
