The device has one face attached to a shutter cabinet for moving a roller-shutter cabinet. The device (100) is fixed in two different positions, about which a movement does not extend over the edge of an outside profile and which corresponds to a face of the cabinet for which the device is intended. An assembly position is provided in which a part of the device exceeds over a profile face (2) of the cabinet, in order to be fastened to a window or a door frame. An independent claim is included for a roller shutter cabinet.
